Ice Cream Money!

I wonder if the people of Zadecha Island, Ethiopia have ever had ice cream....The kids in Harrisburg, NC sure have and they get to enjoy it often as a treat at school. So, Garrett and Tia's teacher organized a fundraiser for the Zay people in which the kids sacrifice their ice cream treats to help the people have clean water and medical care. The entire 1st grade and a fourth grade class are involved with a goal of $500. So far, they have raised well over $300! And there's more ice cream to be sacrficed! Awesome!!!
Thank you, kids, for helping kids just like you have life!

As of today, Friday, December 10th we have raised $678! We are so proud of our school community. With ONE week left we are hoping for at LEAST $800. Our school community is amazing!
