Ferengie Calendar 2011 - Well drilling is scheduled for Zadecha for January!!! Praise God for His faithfulness and provision. We serve an amazing God! Life, Temporal and Eternal is coming. Thank you all for being a part of this amazing provision. We still have so much work to do. The medical clinic is next on their list and I have no doubt that God will make it happen through the efforts of so many. Keep spreading the word to your family and friends.
Below is a letter from Ben and Kelly of Water is Life International, Awassa, Ethiopia:
Hi David and Gray,
Hope things on your side of the ocean are going well. Sorry for the long pause in getting back to you regarding drilling on Zadecha. Our survey team has worked with Nicco, visited the island, and have been discussing what our plan should be for the island. The good news is that our drillers are optimistic that our smaller rig would work on the island. They think they will be able to transport all the equipment and supplies needed by boat. Can you confirm how many wells you have the funds for? Our team surveyed two sites, but wanted to wait and see the outcome, water quality, etc. before moving too far ahead. As with all our well projects, we can not guarantee that we will be successful. But we are optimistic and will try our best.
We have scheduled these sites at Zadecha to be some of the first that we drill in the new year (Ferengie calendar- 2011). We will keep you posted as plans solidify. We are looking forward to working on these projects with you. Our survey team was really moved as they shared with us what they saw on the island. Our prayer is that God will be glorified in every little part of this project.
Many Blessings,
Ben and Kelly

God has provided, through the hard work and the giving of so many, enough to build the third well for the island!!! We have raised a little over $5,000 in the past few weeks. Incredible!
We still have a long way to go but I am entirely confident that the provision for Zadechu Island is God's heart and so He will make a way.
I cannot wait to see the Zay people thriving and thanking God for life, earthly and eternal!!!
We could make a huge dent in the $45,000 for the clinic by matching our November water bills with donations. Please join us and see what miracles God does!!!

What an incredible Garage Sale!!! God is so Cool and He used a bunch of really generous people who gave of their time, energy, stuff and money to build the mother of all garage sales and then He brought droves of people to buy the stuff and we now have......
$2,172.35 for Zadechu Island!!!
Absolutely incredible and beyond my wildest imaginations.
Thank you all so much to all who gave. It couldn't have happened without you all!
Mandy had an outstanding Pampered Chef fundraiser today as well and so there will be more $$$ to add to that total.
Have a blessed Sunday!
Love,
Robin

How often do you thank God for your water bill....or your water, for that matter? I don't think we ever have!
In November we are asking families to pray for the people of Zadechu Island and their physical and spiritual needs and...
commit to match your November water bill amount (or more) with a donation towards the building of a medical clinic and well on the island. Two wells are already paid for and the survey process has begun through Water is Life International. They need a third well and are in desperate need, also, of medical care on the island. It is estimated that a solar-powered medical clinic can be built and stocked along with a well for about $50,000. Sounds like a lot but our God is HUGE!
A little goes a long way and if we all give a little we can do a lot! In fact, $20 provides water for 1 person for 20 years! Twenty dollars=twenty years!
Will you and your family help? If so, please contact us through this site so we can give updates on projected amounts.
We can't wait to see what God does!!! Dive in!
